For four years, Occasion has been entrusted by Dustin to hold the Nordic region’s biggest IT convention at the Ericsson Globe. 70 exhibitors and about 10,000 visitors gathered for three hectic days.
Dustin Expo is an obvious highlight for both corporate customers with an interest in IT and for private attendees. Visitors to the Expo are inspired to streamline their everyday IT experience, and have the opportunity to listen to speakers and experts, not to mention shop at favourable Expo prices. For Dustin, the Expo is about attracting the right visitors, building relationships, creating leads and generating new business.
In order to reach the right visitors, our efforts were focused on creating an appealing seminar program, with content addressing topics like artificial intelligence (AI), IT security and global trends. With GDPR right around the corner, it felt natural to focus heavily on helping as many attendees as possible with their questions by providing a GDPR “emergency room” on-site at the Globe. Another important success factor was to create an attractive mix of exhibitors with cutting edge technology in order to showcase the breadth of the products, services and solutions that Dustin offers its customers.
Dustin Expo continues to be the obvious gathering place for those with an interest in IT. This year’s Expo attracted about 10,000 people. It was gratifying to see the number of visitors during the first B2B days grow year-on-year, which increased the opportunity to generate new business and partnerships for Dustin and their partners.
